"In På plats – konstnedslag i kulturarvet i Halland, artist Karolina Erlingsson relates to an immaterial cultural legacy which, unlike a material legacy, flows from oral storytelling, parlance, songs etc. Her contribution is the sound piece Kringelikrokar, based on material from private cassette tapes. The piece can be regarded as a ”soundtrack” to the E6, or as a parallel history to the province’s formal history – a description of the world outside the window through one person’s subjective experiences. For those who wish to listen to the piece in their car, driving through Halland, it can be downloaded from the Halland Art Museum website. The piece can also be heard at the museum."
